The Spread-A-Bale range continues to attract fresh interest in export markets, with two machines featured on the Simba stand at Agritechnica drawing lots of enquiries from both farmers and dealers. And one of the machines went to work instantly after the event, being sold to a dairy farm near Weeze, Dusseldorf, as Simba’s Ally Wharton reports: “The region has many small dairy farms like this one, which has 45 Channel Island cows on 110 acres. The machine has helped the farmer reduce the time taken to bed down the cows from around four hours to just 40 minutes”.
