The SBL R 1.8SD is designed to spread round bales up to 1.8m (6ft) in diameter sideways. This new model of Spread-A–Bale will compliment the current 4 model range and will open a new market. Being shorter in length, about 2.4m wide, and lighter than the current range, the machine can also be used with conventional front end loaders which we see as vital if we are to fully exploit the market.

The new model retains most of the major benefits of the current line up such as less dust and straw usage. Many of the components are common across the range and are therefore proven in the field and less of an additional stocking burden to the dealer network.
